About The Position

BridgePrep Academy of Broward is hiring a Middle School Math Teacher & Instructional Coach to teach middle school mathematics and coach fellow teachers. The role combines responsibility for student mastery in the teacher’s own classroom with peer coaching to improve instruction across the team. The position is based at BridgePrep Broward in Hollywood, Florida, and reports to the Principal.

The teacher will deliver engaging, data-driven math instruction aligned with Florida B.E.S.T. Standards. As an instructional coach, the role will lead one-on-one coaching cycles, classroom walkthroughs, and live modeling; facilitate data meetings to identify gaps and develop targeted reteaching plans; support curriculum implementation; and deliver practical, timely professional development.

First-year success measures include strong, measurable student proficiency and growth in middle school math, at least 80% of coached teachers meeting or exceeding instructional benchmarks, and high teacher retention supported by trust, partnership, and ongoing support. Compensation is listed as $51,379–$74,902, including full referendum, master’s degree, certification, and bonus payout.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of K–12 classroom teaching experience.
• A documented track record of strong student growth.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Valid Florida Educator Certificate in Middle Grades Mathematics (5–9) or Mathematics (6–12).
• Deep knowledge of Florida B.E.S.T. Math Standards, coaching frameworks, and data-driven instruction.
• Active Florida Level 2 background clearance.
• Three professional references, including a direct supervisor.
