Job Summary Holy Cross Academy is seeking a Middle School Math/Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The teacher is responsible for providing instruction aligned with Archdiocesan curriculum standards while supporting the mission and philosophy of Catholic education.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, Science, or related field
- Missouri teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain)
Nice To Haves
- Middle school teaching experience preferred
- Familiarity with Catholic education preferred
Responsibilities
- Teach Math and Science to middle school students
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned to curriculum standards
- Cover math and science content appropriate to middle school grade levels
- Assess student learning and maintain required academic records
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Maintain a positive, structured, and faith‑centered learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities
