Job Summary Holy Cross Academy is seeking a Middle School Math/Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The teacher is responsible for providing instruction aligned with Archdiocesan curriculum standards while supporting the mission and philosophy of Catholic education.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, Science, or related field
  • Missouri teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain)

Nice To Haves

  • Middle school teaching experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Catholic education preferred

Responsibilities

  • Teach Math and Science to middle school students
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned to curriculum standards
  • Cover math and science content appropriate to middle school grade levels
  • Assess student learning and maintain required academic records
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
  • Maintain a positive, structured, and faith‑centered learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities
