About The Position
Lewis Central Community School District is seeking a Middle School Leadership Sponsor for the 2026-27 academic year. This role involves facilitating leadership opportunities for students, including organizing regular volunteer field trips. The sponsor will also attend a Leadership camp in June with a co-sponsor. A commitment to student well-being and development, along with strong collaborative and leadership skills, is essential.
Requirements
- An educational license from the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners (BOEE) is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the overall well-being and development of students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- CPR / Medication certification may be required.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate leadership opportunities including regular volunteer field trips.
