About The Position
Westminster Schools of Augusta is a Pre-K through 12 regionally-accredited, coeducational, college-preparatory, Christian day school enrolling close to 650 students. The34-acre campus is located in a residential section of Augusta, which is Georgia's second largest metropolitan area. The school is affiliated with First Presbyterian Church of Augusta (PCA), but the student body and faculty include members from more than 90 different local churches of various denominations. We are interested in receiving applications from Christian school educators who view their callings teaching and discipling students for the advancement of God’s kingdom as we equip students to live extraordinary lives for Jesus Christ. Westminster Schools of Augusta seeks an experienced, talented and energetic Middle School Girls Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 School Year. Candidates should have experience working with young children in a school environment. This position is for the 2026-2027 Basketball Season and will be a stipend paid position. Requirements
- Basketball coaching experience
- Experience in mentoring students
- Must be able to relate with middle school athletes
- Ability to effectively communicate with parents and other coaches
Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and implement daily practices
- Intentional development of athletes’ faith and Christian character
- Helping athletes develop their God-given abilities to the fullest
- Being a positive role model for all of the student-athletes at the school
- Be committed to partnering with parents
