Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Substitute Teaching License (or willingness to gain one when hired)
- Collaborative and proactive approach to teaching
- Competency in using technology in the classroom setting
- Ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
- Strong desire to work within an innovative, urban educational program
- Ability to follow an age appropriate curriculum

Responsibilities
- Follow the lesson plans that were created by the teacher
- Implement classroom procedures, systems, and routines that provide structure for students and maximize instructional time.
- Present academic content through a variety of instructional strategies to reach all learners
- Communicate frequently and effectively with student families; promptly return phone calls and answer emails.
- Able to proactively build meaningful, positive relationships with all students
- Uses restorative practices to build positive classroom culture
