About The Position

The 8th grade advisor will be responsible for ensuring the SBJC 8th grade students are included in all of the activities and events leading up to and including graduation. The advisor will be responsible for meeting with fellow staff to ensure that all scheduling, forms, trips, pictures and permission slips are collected for all students ensuring participation in events, graduation, and staying afterschool to chaperone 8th grade events. The advisor will be responsible for informing SBJC administration of events in a timely manner so proper board approval can be met.

Requirements

• Experience as an advisor or in a similar role supporting students.
• Ability to manage scheduling, forms, and event logistics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and administration.
• Willingness to chaperone after-school events.
