About The Position

Our client is building modern, cloud-native software solutions with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability. As part of a collaborative engineering team, you'll contribute to the development of backend services and RESTful APIs that power business-critical applications. Working alongside Product Owners, QA Engineers, and fellow Developers, you'll help deliver reliable, high-quality software while following modern engineering best practices and clean architecture principles.

Requirements

3+ years of commercial experience developing applications with C# and ASP.NET Core
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and software design patterns
Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
Good understanding of HTTP protocols, authentication, authorization, and API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI
Strong hands-on experience with Dapper
Experience working with relational databases and writing optimized SQL queries
Knowledge of joins, indexing, stored procedures, and query optimization techniques
Experience writing unit and integration tests using xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest
Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within an Agile team
Upper-Intermediate (B2) English or higher

Nice To Haves

Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud services
Experience with Redis or distributed caching solutions
Familiarity with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus
Knowledge of CQRS, MediatR, and Clean Architecture
Experience working with microservices-based architectures
Understanding of application monitoring, logging, and performance tuning

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using C# and ASP.NET Core
Build secure, scalable, and high-performing RESTful APIs
Develop efficient data access layers using Dapper and Azure SQL Server
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following SOLID principles and Clean Architecture
Optimize SQL queries and application performance to ensure high availability and responsiveness
Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to automated testing by writing unit and integration tests
