About The Position

Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is seeking an Escalation Specialist to join the Middle Mile (MM) Partner Manager team. This role will work with the team to develop, execute, and manage carrier engagement for Amazon Transportation Services in North America. The Specialist will perform a variety of tasks, escalating when actions deviate from available procedures and working to create standard work by suggesting process deviations. They will meet timelines, minimize disruption to partner teams and carriers, and provide recommendations for improving team processes, metrics, internal tools, SOPs, and workflows. The work impacts team metrics, partner teams, and carriers. The Specialist will also share best practices with the team and partner teams.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent diploma
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
• Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of management experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with SQL

• Maintains clear and concise verbal and written communication with peers, managers, and stakeholders.
• Pulling data from numerous databases (including Microsoft programs like Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems).
