About The Position

Middle Market Credit Delivery Senior Analysts possess a strong and well-developed foundation in finance, accounting, commercial banking products, and credit-focused analysis, operating effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. They independently perform and oversee advanced financial analysis, risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and portfolio management activities for complex clients and relationships. With limited oversight, Senior Analysts take increased ownership of assigned transactions, portfolio reviews, and analytical deliverables, partnering closely with Associates, Relationship Managers, and senior leadership. They apply sound credit judgment to support prudent underwriting and effective credit and risk administration, with a strong emphasis on adherence to credit policy, underwriting standards, and regulatory requirements. Senior Analysts demonstrate proficiency navigating internal systems, policies, and processes to support line-of-business objectives for new business execution and ongoing client management and retention. They supplement quantitative analysis with comprehensive qualitative research and third-party validation, incorporating assessments of client performance, competitors, markets, and industry trends to identify risks and emerging issues. In this role, Senior Analysts regularly support Associate-, VP-, and SVP-level teammates while requiring minimal supervision. They serve as a key analytical resource within the credit delivery team, contribute to training and informal mentoring of junior analysts, and exhibit growing confidence across all facets of underwriting, portfolio management, and internal stakeholder engagement.
