About The Position

We are looking for a Middle Backend Engineer (Golang) to develop reliable, scalable, and secure backend systems. The role involves building backend services, developing APIs, working with event-driven architectures, and contributing to system reliability, maintainability, and performance. While the primary focus is backend development, occasional contributions to React-based frontend functionality may be required.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
Experience building backend applications and services using Golang.
Good understanding of concurrency in Golang and asynchronous workflows.
Experience with event-driven architectures and message handling (e.g., Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies).
Experience with AWS and cloud-native environments.
Experience developing RESTful APIs and service integrations.
Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure API development principles.
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes.
Experience with automated testing, including unit and integration testing.

Nice To Haves

Experience with React, TypeScript, Protobuf, Azure or GCP.
Experience with Keycloak, Auth0, Okta, or similar IAM solutions.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services in Golang, including RESTful APIs and data contracts.
Implement and support asynchronous, event-driven communication, ensuring message reliability, error handling, and backward compatibility.
Contribute to the development of distributed systems and microservices.
Support application performance, reliability, and resource utilization improvements.
Participate in technical discussions and contribute to implementation activities.
Collaborate with team members through code reviews and knowledge sharing activities.
Write and maintain unit and integration tests for APIs, business logic, and integrations.
Develop secure APIs and service integrations, following authentication and authorization best practices.
Build integrations with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, Genesys Cloud, and other third-party systems.
Support and maintain integrations between internal services and external enterprise platforms.
