About The Position

Are you a safe, reliable, and friendly driver who enjoys working with kids? The Granite YMCA is seeking a CDL Bus Driver to transport elementary school students to our YMCA early Kindergarten and Afterschool programs at the YMCA Allard Center of Goffstown. This role is perfect for drivers looking for consistent weekday hours and the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community. Bus monitors on board at all times to supervise youth and manage any behaviors. Position Details Shift Available: Monday–Friday, 10:30a - 12:30p and 1:30pm – 3:30pm (up to 20 hours per week) Route: The 10:30a run consists of multiple runs transporting Kindergarteners back and forth from the local half day kindergarten program and the YMCA. The afternoon route consists of picking up students at Glen Lake, Maple Ave, Bartlett and New Boston Elementary schools and transporting them to the YMCA. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid CDL license with clean driving record
  • Commitment to safety and professionalism

Nice To Haves

  • Experience transporting children preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a YMCA bus along designated routes, ensuring the safety of all child passengers
  • Provide a positive, welcoming, and caring environment for students during transport
  • Follow all state, federal, and YMCA transportation guidelines
  • Maintain a clean driving record and professional driving habits
  • Participate in paid training (provided by the Y)
