About The Position

Razor is looking for a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering support for complex, mission-critical U.S. Government systems. This role supports requirements development, system architecture, integration, verification, technical planning, and resolution of system-level engineering challenges throughout the program lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Qualifying systems engineering experience may be substituted for the degree requirement where permitted.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance required for classified assignments.
  • Experience performing systems engineering on programs of similar scope and complexity
  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and lifecycle processes
  • Experience with requirements analysis, management, and traceability
  • Experience supporting system architecture and design activities
  • Experience with system integration, testing, verification, and validation
  • Ability to analyze complex system-level technical problems
  • Strong technical documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across software, hardware, network, cybersecurity, and other engineering disciplines

Nice To Haves

  • A full-scope polygraph may be required depending on the specific assignment and access requirements.
  • Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community environments
  • Experience with requirements management and systems modeling tools
  • Familiarity with Agile or iterative development methodologies
  • Experience with complex system-of-systems environments
  • Experience supporting classified systems

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and manage system requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle
  • Support system architecture, design, development, integration, and testing
  • Analyze user requirements, operational concepts, and system capabilities
  • Develop technical plans and systems engineering documentation
  • Support system integration, verification, validation, and deployment activities
  • Perform system-level analysis to identify technical issues and recommend solutions
  • Evaluate system performance against established requirements
  • Support interface definition and integration across hardware and software components
  • Participate in technical reviews, design reviews, and engineering working groups
  • Coordinate engineering activities across multidisciplinary technical teams
  • Support risk identification, analysis, and mitigation activities
  • Communicate engineering recommendations to Government and internal stakeholders
