About The Position

PetScreening is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented Mid-Market Sales Associate to join our sales organization. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through a combination of new logo acquisition, portfolio expansion, and customer retention within the multifamily, single-family rental, and manufactured housing industries. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional who thrives on building relationships, creating opportunities, and delivering measurable business outcomes. This individual will identify and secure new business, expand adoption within existing customer portfolios, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout their partnership with PetScreening. Success in this role requires a balance of prospecting, consultative selling, account management, and strategic relationship development.

Requirements

  • Proven success in B2B SaaS, multifamily housing, PropTech, or related solution-based sales.
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to manage both new business acquisition and account growth responsibilities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-driven.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Meet individual and team performance targets by achieving key productivity and quality KPIs.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team by sharing ideas and process improvements, while working in a hybrid environment that requires being in the office 3 days a week. Regular attendance at in-office team meetings and training sessions is a component of the hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic prospecting plans through cold calling, email outreach, referrals, social selling, networking, and industry events.
  • Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
  • Generate, qualify, and advance a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Partner with existing customers to identify portfolio expansion opportunities, increase platform adoption, and maximize customer value.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to uncover growth opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
  • Develop account strategies that drive retention, expansion, and long-term customer success.
  • Utilize account-based selling techniques to penetrate larger organizations and expand PetScreening's market presence.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, competitive solutions, and customer challenges.
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand customer needs, operational challenges, business objectives, and growth initiatives.
  • Deliver compelling virtual and in-person product demonstrations tailored to prospect and customer requirements.
  • Develop customized business cases and ROI-driven recommendations that support customer acquisition and expansion efforts.
  • Manage opportunities through the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, solution presentation, proposal development, contract negotiation, and implementation handoff.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecasting information within CRM systems.
  • Consistently follow up and advance opportunities while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
