The position is responsible for supporting traffic studies and design using knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices to interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments.
Requirements
- Proficient in Synchro, HCS, VISSIM and TransModeler
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from ABET accredited engineering program
- 5-10 years of experience in civil engineering or related field
Nice To Haves
- Professional Engineer License (preferred)
- Related experience
- Experience working with local clients at the county and state level
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing traffic impact studies, traffic analysis and other studies.
- Support project managers in Traffic Signal, ITS design, signing and pavement marking plan preparation.
- Perform design computation
- Prepare MicroStation, Synchro models and project reports.
- Perform other related duties such as field visit as assigned.
