Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret security clearance
  • 3 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing wireless solutions

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology related discipline (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer a variety of WLAN topologies, including indoor, outdoor, high-density, campus, mesh, remote, and industrial.
  • Engineer, deploy, and administer Aruba wireless access points, gateways, and controllers in support of the customer wireless network.
  • Configure and troubleshoot wireless access point connectivity problems.
  • Manage customer’s Wi-Fi networks and possess knowledge and experience the of IEEE 802.11 family of wireless standards.
  • Perform routing and switching configuration tasks on Cisco network devices to enable end-point connection to the customer’s network.
  • Leverage WLAN survey tools to perform Active, Passive, and AP on a Stick surveys.
  • Experience with Spectrum Analyzer tools.
  • Implement AAA and identity-based access solutions for WLAN deployments.
  • Administer and manage wireless intrusion detection and prevention systems, including WIDS and WIPS.
  • Ability to troubleshoot wireless client devices.
  • Ability to perform monitoring of various WLAN technologies and topologies.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, with good communication (written and oral) and coordination skills.
  • Consult with both internal as well as client teams to drive solutions from design to completion.
