About The Position

Immersive Concepts is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mid-Level AV Technician to join our team at a government facility in the NCR. The ideal candidate will assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems in a live environment. This role requires a solid technical background, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in AV technology and system integration, preferably in a government or corporate setting.
Proficiency in the installation and operation of AV systems, including Crestron, Extron, Biamp, and similar technologies.
Basic understanding of network infrastructure and AV over IP.
Familiarity with video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco Webex.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.

Nice To Haves

CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of AV equipment including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing systems, and control systems.
Ensure proper setup and functionality of AV systems according to specifications and client requirements.
Perform routine maintenance and updates on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to AV systems, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
Provide on-site technical support for live events, meetings, and presentations.
Assist in training end-users on the operation of AV equipment and systems.
Help create and maintain user guides and documentation for AV systems.
Support senior technicians and project managers in the coordination of AV projects.
Conduct site surveys and assist in preparing project plans and proposals.
Follow government regulations and security protocols related to AV systems and installations.
Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
