About The Position

The MICU RN will provide specialized, continuous, and high-level care to critically ill or unstable patients. The RN will manage complex life-support equipment, administer medications, track rapid shifts in patient status, and work alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Responsibilities include monitoring mechanical ventilators and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), conducting head-to-toe physical assessments, and continuously monitoring vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic parameters.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure.
• Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license.
• Current BLS required.
• Current ACLS required.
• Must acquire ACLS certification within 30 days if not certified on hire.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in an ICU setting is preferred.
