About The Position

We are seeking a strong MicroStrategy Developer with expertise in MicroStrategy/Strategy One, including reports, dossiers, dashboards, documents, metrics, attributes, prompts, filters, and subscriptions. The role requires advanced SQL skills with experience in relational databases and Cloud (GCP) data warehouses. You will be responsible for report development, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and data validation. Hands-on experience supporting both on-premises and cloud/CMC MicroStrategy environments is essential. Knowledge of security configurations, APIs, administration, migrations, and production support is also required. Experience with MicroStrategy Cloud/CMC and AI-enabled analytics is preferred. This position involves providing engineering expertise for developing features for Banking, including Financial Crimes and Anti-money Laundering platforms, improving engineering practices, and partnering with product teams to deliver transformative solutions.

Requirements

Strong expertise in MicroStrategy/Strategy One – reports, dossiers, dashboards, documents, metrics, attributes, prompts, filters, and subscriptions.
Advanced SQL skills.
Experience with relational databases.
Experience with Cloud (GCP) data warehouses.
Hands-on experience supporting on-premises and cloud/CMC MicroStrategy environments.
Knowledge of security configurations, APIs, administration, migrations, and production support.
Hands-on software development experience with Big Data & Analytics solutions.
GCP Cloud - Big Query, Airflow, DataProc, PubSub, Hadoop Hive, Spark, Python, shell scripting.
Strong experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines for large-scale data processing, transformation, and analysis using Big Data and GCP technologies.
Proficiency in SQL and database systems.
Experience in designing and optimizing data models for performance and scalability.
Design and development experience with Git, Jenkins.
Knowledge of distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms & relational databases.
Strong Object-Oriented Programming skills and design patterns.
Experience with CICD pipelines, Automated test frameworks, and source code management tools (XLR, Jenkins, Git).
Good knowledge and experience with configuration management tools like GitHub.
Ability to analyze complex data engineering problems, propose effective solutions, and implement them effectively.
Ability and willingness to learn, adopt and build solutions using the Enterprise frameworks established for Big Data.
Understanding of various SDLC methodologies, familiarity with Agile & scrum ceremonies.

Nice To Haves

Experience with MicroStrategy Cloud/CMC and AI-enabled analytics.
BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Certifications in cloud platform (GCP Professional Data Engineer) is a plus.

Responsibilities
