About The Position

Supporting the Risk business with all reporting requirements using the Microstrategy BI Suite and Power BI for Credit Risk reporting. Developing custom applications for special requirements like PnL or Counterparty risk calculations using technologies such as .Net core, Snowflake, AWS Cloud services, and Python. Providing BI development and support to Risk departments by gathering requirements, designing, developing, and testing within the Microstrategy BI tool. Supporting the core development team with existing BI & DWH knowledge. Working closely within an agile international IT team (Germany, UK, Slovakia) and ensuring implementation and adherence to coding standards and governance guidelines.

Requirements

• University Degree preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science
• Very good experience and working knowledge of MicroStrategy
• Good communication techniques and self organising skills
• Working calm under high pressure and taking ownership on managing multiple user requests
• Open to travel at least once a year to Europe strengthen collaboration within the team and cross stakeholders
• Working experience with creating complex SQL-Statements, preferably in Snowflake
• Experience in providing support to business colleagues on questions regarding various IT platforms
• Be able to explain, and demonstrate experience of applying various problem solving and decision making techniques

• Working experience with Python would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Provide BI development and support to Risk departments in their daily reporting work by gathering requirements, designing, developing and testing new requirements and change requests within the Microstrategy BI tool
• Support with the existing BI & DWH knowledge the core development team
• Working experience with creating complex SQL-Statements, preferably in Snowflake
• Experience in providing support to business colleagues on questions regarding various IT platforms
• Work closely within an agile international IT team (Germany, UK, Slovakia)
• Ensure implementation and adherence to coding standards and governance guidelines
• Be able to explain, and demonstrate experience of applying various problem solving and decision making techniques
