About The Position

This position is for a Microsoft O365 subject matter expert to join the RTX Enterprise Services team in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico. The role involves administration, design, implementation, and support of the Office 365 suite, including Office, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and OneDrive. The engineer will be responsible for tenant health, new service enablement, and ensuring compliance with cyber and security policies. They will also contribute to process improvements, research new technologies, and coordinate with Microsoft Support. The position requires adherence to written work instructions, which are available in English only.

Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working as an O365 engineer.
  • Experience working with PowerShell.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Microsoft O365 subject matter expert in Office, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and OneDrive.
  • Manage Office 365 administration, including groups, licensing, automations, tenant health, and new service enablement.
  • Design and implement products based on requirements, ensuring compliance with cyber and security policies.
  • Provide input for new products/services, processes, or standards in operational plans to implement business strategies.
  • Influence others regarding policies and practices related to Microsoft Office 365 products.
  • Execute change management requests and provide support for scheduled and planned maintenance.
  • Support Operations Tier 3 for Tenant Engineering.
  • Participate in researching and testing next-generation technologies.
  • Coordinate and escalate issues to Microsoft Support.
  • Make improvements to processes, systems, or products to enhance work area performance.
