About The Position

Peraton is seeking an experienced Microsoft Engineer to manage, develop, modernize, and migrate Microsoft 365 services within a government multi-cloud environment. The role requires strong technical skills in Microsoft 365 and Exchange/SharePoint, along with effective written and verbal communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have engineering lead experience and a passion for performance, quality, and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience or an Associates degree and 7 years of experience or a High School diploma and 9 years of experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust Government Security Clearance.
  • One Microsoft 365 certification
  • 5+ years of Microsoft 365 integration, systems analysis, or programming experience
  • 3+ years of Exchange and/or SharePoint server support
  • Experience collaborating with technical teams of diverse IT related skill sets
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of mail routing and deploying in Government environments.
  • Exemplary communication, analytical skills, and technical knowledge across the client environment.
  • Ability to produce concise and clear technical documentation.

  • Extensive Microsoft 365 and Exchange/SharePoint knowledge
  • Experience with integration, system analysis or programming
  • Experience developing Microsoft 365 PowerShell/GraphAPI scripts and PowerPlatform

Responsibilities

  • Supports Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, PowerPlatform, and Entra Id.
  • Supports ongoing management and governance of Mobility endpoint management, Office 365 and Entra Id, and eDiscovery environments.
  • Provides expertise in Intune, Identity Access Management, Entra ID, and Office 365 solutions.
  • Manages and configures journaling and archive environments, with experience in eDiscovery tools.
  • Maintains working knowledge of email routing, including DNS/DKIM/SPF.
  • Understands modern collaboration application management, business requirements, and performance measurement techniques.
  • Performs logical and physical systems engineering and delivery for large enterprise collaboration environments.
  • Leverages diverse technology experience with extensive collaboration applications and cloud knowledge.
  • Integrates systems, performs system analysis, develops cloud systems requirements, and executes migration activities.
