About The Position

Formula5 is a Microsoft Partner specializing in Data and AI, Security, Identity, and Cloud Automation. They assist organizations in developing secure, scalable, and modern solutions. Formula5 is seeking a Microsoft Data (Fabric) Solution Seller to expand their Microsoft Fabric professional services business. This role is crucial for building pipeline, co-selling with Microsoft, and establishing their presence in the Microsoft ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the Microsoft ecosystem and a strong professional services background, operating at the intersection of sales, pre-sales, and delivery. The role involves building relationships with Microsoft Sellers, shaping joint opportunities, developing offerings, and guiding customers through their Microsoft Fabric adoption journey, from initial discovery to deal closure and handover to delivery. This position is suited for individuals who excel at building relationships, understand Microsoft partner dynamics, and are comfortable balancing commercial responsibilities with in-depth solution discussions.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in consultative solution selling or pre-sales within the Microsoft ecosystem (partner/channel or direct), with proven pipeline ownership and deal shaping.
  • Strong professional services background: scoping, estimating, building SOW-style proposals, and aligning delivery motions to what’s sold.
  • Working knowledge of modern data & analytics platforms; ability to position Microsoft Fabric across end-to-end analytics workflows.
  • Relationship-builder: naturally create trust, maintain a network, and operate effectively across Microsoft seller teams, clients, and internal delivery leaders.
  • Willingness to travel for customer and Microsoft-facing engagements across the US.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with other Data Solutions such as Snowflake and Data Bricks.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft partner programs, incentives, and funding mechanisms.
  • Microsoft certifications related to Data, Analytics, or Azure (or willingness to pursue them).

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft Sellers and partner stakeholders to generate and progress co-sell opportunities.
  • Develop joint account plans, pipeline strategy, and execution rhythms with Microsoft and internal stakeholders.
  • Own end-to-end pursuit execution for Fabric services: discovery, qualification, solution shaping, estimating, proposal creation, and closing support.
  • Lead customer conversations from business outcomes through technical direction, positioning Microsoft Fabric value across unified analytics workloads and governance.
  • Ensure clean handoff to delivery teams, aligning scope, success criteria, and delivery approach.
  • Facilitate workshops, solution briefings, and executive sessions, translating customer goals into a Fabric roadmap and services plan.
  • Communicate confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders and tie solution decisions to measurable value.
  • Collaborate with the Data Practice to shape solutions across Fabric workloads (e.g., Data Engineering, Data Factory, Data Warehouse, OneLake, Power BI integration) and package them into services offers.
  • Drive demand generation with Microsoft and internal teams (campaigns, events, enablement) and help customers access Microsoft programs/funding where applicable.
