Microsoft Adoption & Change Management Consultant
About The Position
Insight is seeking a Microsoft 365 Adoption & Change Management Consultant to join Insight Canada’s Adoption & Change Management team. This role involves collaborating with Modern Workplace specialists to help clients prepare their people for technology-enabled change and achieve sustained adoption of Microsoft 365 solutions like Microsoft Copilot, Purview, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, and other applications. The consultant will work across multiple client engagements, translating technical changes into user impacts, leading discovery and stakeholder activities, developing adoption and communication plans, creating learning content, and facilitating user enablement sessions. Projects may include cloud migrations, Copilot deployments, SharePoint information architecture initiatives, and security or compliance programs.
Requirements
- Experience in client-facing consulting, adoption and change management, or a related field.
- Comfortable leading workshops, presenting to a range of audiences, and building trusted client relationships.
- Ability to independently manage deliverables, priorities, and deadlines across multiple client projects.
- Experience creating polished, audience-focused communications, presentations, and learning materials.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical messages that connect technology with business and user needs.
- Strong organization, prioritization, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to work at client locations and travel based on the needs of each engagement.
Nice To Haves
- Experience driving AI adoption and helping organizations build confidence, capability, and sustained use of AI-enabled tools.
- Experience working in a consulting environment where multiple client projects or workstreams were managed and delivered concurrently.
- Technical writing experience and ability to turn complex concepts into clear, practical, and audience-friendly communications and documentation.
- Instructional design experience creating compelling, learner-focused training content and supporting materials.
- Facilitated engaging user enablement sessions for Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365 apps, SharePoint, OneDrive, sensitivity labels, and data loss prevention (DLP) policies.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and guidance to clients around Adoption and Change Management.
- Lead discovery sessions to understand client goals, audiences, readiness, risks, and adoption barriers.
- Define success measures and use feedback, usage insights, and adoption indicators to refine the approach.
- Translate technical changes into practical messages and experiences for business users.
- Facilitate virtual and in-person workshops, executive briefings, train-the-trainer sessions, and end-user training.
- Support Copilot and AI adoption through use-case discovery, responsible-use guidance, champions programs, and reinforcement activities.
- Manage assigned deliverables, timelines, risks, and client communications across concurrent projects.
- Collaborate with project management, technical delivery, and other ACM consultants.
- Skill up in areas where there is a need.
