About The Position

We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Engineer to support and enhance our Microsoft 365 security and compliance environment. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing and managing Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra ID, and compliance policies to help protect organizational data and meet regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra ID, and Exchange Online security.
• Experience with compliance frameworks, governance, and data protection best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Microsoft 365 security and compliance solutions, including Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender.
• Implement data loss prevention (DLP), retention, sensitivity labels, and information protection policies.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and recommend remediation actions.
• Manage identity and access security using Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and MFA.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Document configurations, security controls, and operational procedures.
