About The Position

UT Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) provides campus access, mobility, and services through policies that are customer-focused, environmentally friendly, and economically sound. PTS understands that as a student, your first obligation is your education - we work around your schedule. The Micromobility Student Ambassador will support campus safety mobility initiatives. Student Ambassadors will help educate the campus community about new safety protocols, promote responsible riding, and support a safer environment for pedestrians and riders. This is a peer education role. Ambassadors are expected to be friendly, approachable, reliable, and comfortable speaking in a positive and respectful way.

Requirements

  • Must be reliable, responsible, and have regular availability.
  • Must maintain an unexpired Texas Driver’s License and a clear driving record.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be enrolled at an institution of higher learning and meet enrollment eligibility Requirements for a non-academic student position.
  • Must not be working for another UT dept. or State of Texas dept.

Responsibilities

  • Educate the campus community about campus mobility safety rules, expectations, and new safety protocols.
  • Serve as a friendly and visible point of contact during the program launch.
  • Answer questions and help inform the public.
  • Distribute educational materials, reminders, and promotional items as needed.
  • Encourage following safety guidelines in a respectful, non-confrontational manner.
  • Share feedback, common questions, or recurring concerns with the program.
  • Help identify high-traffic or high-confusion areas where additional messaging may be needed.
  • Attend required training sessions and team check-ins.
