Chamberlain University is seeking primarily Industry Professionals to share their knowledge and experience with undergraduate BSN nursing students on-site in Jacksonville, FL. This position involves teaching Fundamentals of Microbiology with Lab (BIOS-242). The course covers basic concepts of microbiology, with emphasis on medically important microorganisms and infectious diseases, including microscopy, microbial growth and genetics, antimicrobial agents, epidemiology, and immune system responses to pathogens. Lab exercises focus on aseptic techniques, isolation and culture of microorganisms, microscopy, and staining techniques. Courses meet on campus twice a week for eight-week sessions, with a blend of face-to-face interaction and technology for an enhanced learning environment. Commitment is on a course-by-course basis.
