Requirements

• High school degree required.
• Skilled in use of PC software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work on multiple projects and priorities

Nice To Haves

• Science technical degree or experience in Food or Consumer branded products preferable.
• Experience with relevant ISO Quality standards or other quality standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must follow good laboratory practices, good manufacturing practices, site manufacturing requirements and site safety and hygiene policies.
• Perform microbiological testing and monitoring of raw materials, finished products and environmental sites.
• Review and evaluate microbiological test results and communicate findings and trends clearly and in a timely manner including routine daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Accurately document and record microbiological data into SAP or approved tracking systems.
• Execute analytical testing when deemed necessary for business need.
• Maintain laboratory operations by keeping work areas clean and organized, managing lab supplies and inventory, and assisting with microbiology equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Support plant hygiene activities as needed, including assisting with hygiene audits, meetings, training activities, and other assigned duties.
