Work Experience: Intermediate (Developing Skills) Work Experience Description: Ideal for students who have begun gaining relevant experience and are building their skills through internships, part-time jobs, or significant projects. Typically aimed at sophomores or juniors who have completed a combination of introductory and advanced coursework. ᅟ Job Summary Assists Dr. Weeks in preparing media and samples for Microbiology lab, performing routine laboratory tasks, experiments, and maintenance. Primary Responsibilities Prepares lab equipment, supplies, and proper setup for testing and experiments. Prepares and arranges slides, solutions, media, buffers, plates, and specimens for laboratory testing, following procedures and ensuring proper handling. Maintains databases on the results of experiments. Perform statistical analyses of data, using computer software. Performs other duties as assigned.
