About The Position
LaneStaffing is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Microbiologist II to support wastewater surveillance testing and laboratory operations. This role plays a critical part in public health monitoring and requires strong adherence to quality control and chain of custody procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Bacteriology, Microbiology, or a closely related field
- Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience in: Bacteriology, Serology, Virology

Responsibilities
- Perform daily testing of wastewater surveillance samples
- Maintain strict chain of custody procedures for all samples
- Conduct quality control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Receive, log, and properly store laboratory samples
- Maintain organized and compliant laboratory documentation
- Perform additional duties as assigned
