About The Position

Controlled Contamination Services has been a national provider of facility solutions, technical and decontamination services since 1993. They serve clients in the Life Sciences, Technology, IT, Defense, and Aerospace industries, utilizing state-of-the-art strategies, processes, and human capital to ensure the highest degree of service and integrity for the sensitive environments they support. The MicroCleaner Lead oversees the day-to-day cleaning operations and quality programs of specific accounts or group sites.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1 year of experience in the cleaning and/or janitorial arenas.
  • Versed in safety requirements, equipment use, scheduling and training.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
  • Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and techniques.
  • Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.
  • Ensures proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.
  • Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
  • Makes rounds to check for crew coverage of designated work areas, assigns needed coverage, gives special cleaning instructions and/or assignments, and ascertains compliance with directives.
  • Maintain records, such as reporting and managing employee paid time off.
  • Ensures accurate time keeping and ensures labor law compliance.
  • Performs inventories, reports and related work as assigned.
  • All other duties as defined by supervisor.
