About The Position

At McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, we offer individuals experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness, addictive disease and/or developmental disability the hope for optimal functioning and recovery by providing quality behavioral health services and supports. This role directs and provides assistance to plan, organize, direct and coordinate the delivery of health services. The position provides assistance to develop and implement related policies and procedures, monitors and evaluates healthcare programs, and directs subordinate managers and staff.

Requirements

Demonstrates effective communication both orally and in writing with a wide variety of persons with interest or involvement in community MH/DD/AD services.
Demonstrates knowledge of current MH/DD/AD concepts in the program area of assignment.
Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize, and direct a community program/service site.
Demonstrates the ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of community leaders and other agency personnel.
Demonstrates the ability to complete the hiring process inclusive of all steps within the procedure.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills associated with intrinsic leadership: 1) setting direction, 2) aligning people, and 3) motivating and inspiring.
Demonstrates the ability to complete the Performance Management Process fairly within the program/center.
Demonstrates knowledge of procedures and reports in the electronic health record system.
Doctorate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of management/supervisory experience in health care services OR Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of management/ supervisory experience in health care services OR Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Four years of management/ supervisory experience in health care services OR Two years' experience at the lower level Mgr.2, HIth Care (HCMO011) or position equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and administrative oversight to MH Residential Programs (Inspirations, ITRs, Liberty, Options, Shelter Plus Care, and GA Housing Voucher.
Ensure that MH Residential programs are meeting Beacon, CARF, DCH, and Medicaid requirements.
Provide administrative and clinical supervision to the MH residential program leads/managers, case managers, parapros, and houseparent's.
Maximize funding and revenue for Inspirations, Liberty, Options, and Shelter Plus Care by ensuring that the beds are filled.
Complete program reports and submit timely based on deadlines set by DBHDD.
Participate in trainings/meetings/webinars that is related to the MH Residential programs and services.
Manage the health and safety processes at the MH Residential programs to ensure compliance.
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
