About The Position

Manages a segment of a program or a function. Responsible for the direct supervision/management of the staff. Responsible for providing objective-oriented direction to subordinates utilizing management guidelines & general policies. Other responsibilities include: planning and program performance addressing cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality of a work package, subsystem, or related group of work packages on a large system development-type contract or full responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a large delivery order or mid-size technical services-type contract.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience
  • Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience
  • NNS Apprentice School graduate (may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree)
  • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate (may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree)
  • Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience (may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree)
  • Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience (may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree)
  • High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience (may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree)
  • High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience (may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree)
  • US Citizenship Required
