About The Position

The Manager of Quality provides advanced leadership and coordination of quality activities across complex or multiple projects. The role oversees implementation of DPR’s quality processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement. It serves as a technical resource and mentor to quality coordinators, providing expertise in quality planning, auditing, and issue resolution. The manager integrates quality principles throughout project phases to support DPR’s standards for reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading or mentoring others in a project or functional capacity.
• 6–8 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or project management.
• American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Construction Quality Manager (CCQM) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Six Sigma certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance and control processes for complex or multi-phase projects, ensuring adherence to DPR standards and client requirements.
• Provide guidance on quality planning and documentation to project teams and investigate project-level quality non-conformance items.
• Coordinate quality reviews, audits, and inspections; identify trends and recommend process improvements to prevent recurring nonconformance issues.
• Mentor and support quality coordinators and field teams, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development across projects.
• Analyze project quality data and metrics to evaluate performance, identify improvement opportunities, and inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with project leadership, design partners, and trade contractors to align on quality objectives, expectations, and deliverables.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of company-wide quality tools, templates, and training resources.
