About The Position

This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior / Program Manager to support the SAOC Integration Branch, air vehicle product line in program activities, program review sessions, and overall cost, schedule and technical performance. The individual will assist in crafting and aid in executing accelerated delivery of capability. This person must have demonstrated consistent aggressive delivery of complex capabilities to the operator. The E-4C Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC) is a United States Air Force program to develop a replacement for the E-4B National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC), a strategic command-and-control military aircraft used as a mobile command post for the National Command Authority in an emergency situation.

Requirements

  • 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
  • Aircraft Expertise: Experience in design, development, and mission system integration of commercial derivatives or military transports.
  • Technical Knowledge: Test planning and sustainment operations
  • Evaluation Skills: Mission Test Points, Digital Data Packages
  • Previous experience working with Certification Processes: DCMA, FAA
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead a large, complex program and be fully accountable for its profit and loss.
  • Oversee all phases of program execution from inception through completion, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives are met.
  • Manage multiple customers and coordinate planning and execution across several subcontractors, including both on‑site and remote operations.
  • Serve as the primary customer interface, conducting regular program reviews and driving solutions to program challenges through resource allocation, schedule adjustments, and contractual updates.
  • Integrate AI capabilities, manage digital data packages, support mission test points, oversee MRO activities, and direct employees, including management-level staff.
