About The Position
Plans, organizes and controls the planning and engineering support of all three operating divisions (AGFS, OPS, & DGO) under a market concept within a geographic area/market. The preferred location for this hybrid position is Pittsburgh PA, Memphis TN or Plano TX. However, we will consider candidates based elsewhere within the United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories). Candidates residing within 50 miles of a FedEx campus will be required to work on-site at a FedEx location several times per week.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/equivalent.
- Five (5) years related business experience in an engineering discipline, operations research or industrial management field.
- Knowledge of FedEx operations with strong basic management, analytical, human relations and communications skills required.
Responsibilities
- Plans, organizes and controls the planning and engineering support of all three operating divisions (AGFS, OPS, & DGO) under a market concept within a geographic area/market.
- Supports air network design, optimization, and implementation by collaborating with stakeholders to align capacity with demand, enable new business onboarding, and support expansion into new markets for scalable, sustainable growth.
- Analyzes network performance to identify improvement opportunities and drive efficiency.
- Leverages data insights to enhance operations, optimize capacity planning, and deliver continuous improvements that support long-term, profitable business outcomes.
