About The Position

The Facilities Manager will oversee Cape Air's corporate facilities. The person in this position will manage the functioning of building systems (including mechanical, electrical, and fire/life safety), lead the maintenance of property buildings and grounds, oversee headquarters aircraft hangar operations, and manage contractors for routine maintenance and facility renovation projects (entailing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security and other systems). The Facilities Manager will be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures, and will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while performing a variety of complex tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and directs all headquarters facility maintenance programs
  • Conducts and performs general maintenance, minor repairs and groundskeeping of headquarters (HDQ) facilities
  • Leads plans and coordinates all HDQ facility improvements, renovations, and office relocations with the support and coordination of the Managing Director
  • Acts as a liaison between Cape Air, HYA airport management and vendors during major maintenance and construction projects
  • Assures compliance with FAA, TSA, and Airport security regulations
  • Assists other departments and stations with transporting supplies and equipment
  • Incorporates best practices to support the development of policies and procedures of the department
  • Establishes positive relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Promotes sustainable efforts throughout the department and the organization
  • Assist with the support and maintenance of all company Ground Support Equipment (GSE) as necessary
  • Additional duties as assigned
