Overview The Manager, Commercial Effectiveness is responsible for driving disciplined commercial planning, performance management, and executional effectiveness across the enterprise. This role partners closely with Regional and Market Commercial Operations, Sales Leadership, Trade Development, Finance to translate commercial priorities into actionable plans, execution standards, and performance insights. This position plays a critical role in enabling enterprise Commercial Effectiveness by providing structured planning support, commercial analytics, and strategic recommendations that improve productivity, profitability, and execution consistency across markets. The Manager ensures commercial plans are aligned to enterprise priorities, market dynamics, and customer needs while supporting strong operating rhythms and governance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial planning, strategy, analytics, consulting, or related commercial roles
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proven ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment
  • Experience working with commercial planning tools, performance management processes, and multi‑project environments
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Experience supporting commercial planning, performance management, or sales execution effectiveness
  • Comfort working with large, complex data sets and enterprise reporting tools
  • Familiarity with commercial planning, forecasting, and performance management platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, evolving environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support enterprise commercial planning processes, including annual operating planning, in‑year forecasting, and program management cadences aligned to the commercial operating model
  • Translate commercial and supplier priorities into clear execution plans, performance metrics, and actionable insights for regional and market leadership
  • Provide analytical and strategic support across key commercial initiatives, including sales execution effectiveness and performance management
  • Assess market conditions, customer trends, and brand performance to identify risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies that improve commercial outcomes
  • Partner with Trade Development, Commercial Finance, S&OP, and Commercial Intelligence teams to ensure alignment between commercial plans, supplier strategies, and financial expectations
  • Support the development and adoption of standardized tools, templates, and planning frameworks that improve execution consistency and decision quality across markets
  • Monitor performance against commercial plans and commitments, proactively identifying variances and recommending corrective actions
  • Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration to embed strong planning discipline, execution clarity, and performance accountability
  • Identify opportunities to improve commercial processes, governance, and ways of working to enhance efficiency and scalability
  • Support change management, training, and communication efforts related to commercial planning, execution standards, and enterprise initiatives
  • Own creation, management, and maintenance of goal collections and segments in LPM for all SPP programs, including Sales Consultant SPP and Overlay SPP, ensuring accuracy and alignment with approved program design
