Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. This position will perform managerial functions to include responsibility for department leadership, decision making, setting department standards and policy guidelines, assigning work schedules for staff, preliminary completion of evaluations for staff and/or corrective actions. Responsible to present documents to the Business Office Director for review and final approval

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of college education with classes in business, accounting/finance. Equivalent work related experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience, which includes medical, management/supervisory and Admissions department experience.
  • 10-key calculator, keyboarding, and use of other business office machines such as copier, fax, phones, etc.
  • Knowledge of third-party payers: Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance.
  • Outstanding people skills, including telephone technique, personal demeanor, organizational skills, communication skills (verbal and written), independent and self-motivated, flexible, analytic and arithmetic skills, negotiation skills, problem solving skills and computer skills, including understanding reports and utilizing word processing and spreadsheet applications.
