About The Position

This position is open to graduate students enrolled in the Master of Family Therapy Program on the Savannah campus. The work-study student provides administrative and operational support for the academic program and Mercer-affiliated teaching clinic in Savannah, which provides community-based mental health care services in the Savannah area.

The student supports the Savannah campus location and teaching clinic, helping maintain a professional, private-practice work environment and handling sensitive information discreetly in accordance with confidentiality standards. The student reports directly to the program or clinic administrator designated for the Savannah campus. The position is scheduled for 10 hours per week and pays $12.00 per hour, as determined by budget and availability. The stated start date is November 2, 2026, and the end date is July 30, 2027.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in the Master of Family Therapy Program on the Savannah campus.
• Must be available to work during the hours the program and teaching clinic operate.
• Strong communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative support to the Savannah campus location and teaching clinic.
• Support program operations, including organizing and maintaining program files and records.
• Assist with data entry, marketing and outreach, and preparation of routine administrative materials for faculty and staff.
• Help maintain a professional, private-practice work environment.
• Handle sensitive information discreetly and in keeping with confidentiality standards.
