About The Position

BB Imaging is seeking experienced MFM Sonographers to join their Weekend On-Call team. This role is designed for sonographers who want the freedom of weekend-only availability while remaining part of a supportive, sonographer-led clinical community. The position involves providing compassionate patient care and delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging across a variety of clinic sites. It offers clinical impact and personal flexibility, suitable for those looking to supplement a current role, transition to a more flexible schedule, or stay engaged in MFM care without a full-time commitment.

Requirements

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• 1+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

Nice To Haves

• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers
