Ensures manufacturing of products and semi-finished products in his/her assigned cluster within Surface Treatment in compliance with safety, shift productivity goals as well as internal and external quality specifications. Leads and motivates the team in his/her assigned cluster to achieve set goals. Oversees the finishing of metal parts according to procedure. This role involves supervisory responsibilities including planning, assigning, and directing work within the assigned cluster. The position requires demonstrating leadership skills, ensuring manufacturing output goals are met, mentoring team members, identifying and communicating workflow bottlenecks and equipment/personnel issues to Shift Supervisors. It also involves supporting LEAN activities, 5S principles, continuous process improvement, and preventive maintenance. The role requires performing machine setting adjustments, analyzing part measurements using various equipment, reviewing measurement reports, performing re-works, using hand tools for de-burring, and conducting visual inspections. Communication with Shift Supervisors, Area Leads, and Operators regarding potential issues, product quality, safety, and production process is crucial. The role requires regular attendance for effective shift handoffs and may involve occasional offsite or overseas training trips.
