Mfg Systems Software Development Engineer
About The Position
Intel Foundry Automation's (IFA) Automation Operations Team is looking for a highly driven and disciplined individual to join our team as a compressed work week shift engineer for supporting equipment performance and operations on day shift. The candidate will primarily be responsible for Automation application technical troubleshooting and operational support for the systems and software running in Intel's Factories. The candidate will also be expected to provide next-level support for certain applications for Intel's worldwide factory network. Some project work including insertion activity hardening and CIP software development is also part of the job scope.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related STEM fields.
- 6+ months of experience with scripting and related activities (SQL, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
- 6+ months of experience in current IT technologies (Windows Server, ServiceNow, ITIL, Icloud, VMWare, etc.)
- Demonstrated initiative and to be self-directing and to work with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable presenting issues and driving solutions utilizing formal education and judgement.
- Willing to produce results in a timely manner and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
- Willing to work a compressed work schedule: Working Shift 7 Schedule: CWW Days - AM to PM, Thurs-Sat + alternate Wed (12-hour shifts)
