Join our team as a Manufacturing Planning Coordinator II, where you'll contribute to optimizing material flow and production efficiency. In this position, you'll ensure timely material staging, maintain accurate inventory management, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Working with cross-functional teams, you'll coordinate material movements, support production schedules, and implement best practices in our manufacturing environment. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to serve customers in the life sciences, biotechnology, and healthcare industries.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma OR GED Required
  • 1 year of experience in inventory management, material staging, and production scheduling, preferably in life sciences, biotech, or similar industry
  • Experience with ERP systems and transaction processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and manufacturing-related software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work with others
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, 5S)
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented with focus on achieving objectives
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 45 pounds with assistance
  • Availability to work varying schedules as needed
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Safe handling of chemicals and hazardous materials
  • Ability to identify and address potential issues
  • Dedication to maintaining safety and quality standards

Responsibilities

  • Independently create kits in SAP and prepare materials for production master batch records and manufacturing formulation records in alignment with the master production schedule.
  • Support buffer identification, material staging, line-side replenishment, and timely movement of raw materials and components throughout manufacturing areas.
  • Process routine receipts, moves, picks, consumptions, reversals, and related ERP transactions with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain raw material inventories using Kanban or other replenishment methods to keep suites stocked and organized.
  • Perform cycle counts, location audits, and inventory checks in production-owned areas; escalate and help resolve routine discrepancies.
  • Support process order management, batch record completion, and documentation organization needed for disposition and closeout.
  • Perform waste, scrap, return-to-warehouse, and expiry reporting activities in accordance with procedures and traceability requirements.
  • Communicate status, risks, and material constraints to the lead or supervisor and help train newer team members on standard workflows.
  • Participate in shift exchanges, huddles, and continuous improvement, 5S, or sustainability activities that strengthen material flow and execution reliability.
  • Follow up on open issues, escalate delays or shortages promptly, and support visitors or other operational needs as required.
