Requirements

  • Strong computer skills.
  • Food handlers’ certification.
  • Very strong Customer Service commitment.
  • Critical thinking with basic problem-solving skills and be able to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge on Food manufacturing & processing.
  • Understands the ability to work prep production lines or stations with hands on.
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate the daily production requirements.
  • Proactive, resourceful & highly motivated with good communication skills and ability to work in a high output environment.
  • Able to demonstrate attention to detail and follow through in all areas of responsibility.

  • 2+ years’ demonstrated manufacturing & processing supervisory experience in roles of increasing responsibility demonstrating the ability to achieve results.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data. Establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Basic ability to understand batching process in control panels of kettles.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, test and set up all equipment technology pieces in the production floor.
  • Ensure that all production PLC’s work appropriately and calibrate every equipment to perform as per equipment operating procedure.
  • Commission every piece of equipment and get it ready to perform the daily production schedule.
  • Ensure that all equipment PLC’s are in proper working condition and report immediately any visible water damage.
  • Ensure that all dates, codes, and product information are input correctly in all equipment pieces and that matches the day’s production schedule.
  • Execute HACCP under direction of the Quality Assurance team.
  • Work closely with Maintenance department in providing preventive maintenance to each piece of equipment.
  • Execute the daily production work as per Production Manager’s schedule, following company’s GMP’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all processes meet customer’s specification requirements and minimize risk to the company.
  • Work all PLC-related equipment with precision and the outmost safety procedures as per company guidelines.
  • Assist Production Manager in cooking-packing-x-ray detection-chilling products that meet established quality, customer service, safety, sanitation, innovation, and cost metrics consistent with schedules and policies at the back of the house.
  • Execute work standards and maintain improvement through sustaining behaviors, operating with discipline and rigor.
  • Using daily production scheduling as base, batch, mix and cook all recipes in steam kettles ensuring proper temperature are reached in every step of the formula.
  • Operate PLC programs in every processing/packing equipment.
  • Work closely with kettle cooks in the evacuation of kettle product.
  • Work closely with sanitation to clean and maintain equipment clean and in optimum sanitary conditions.
  • Consistently apply all Company Policies and Procedures.

  • Assist Production Manager in executing daily production scheduling of entire facility.
  • Execute the lock-out / tag out program in his/her area of responsibility.
  • Pack, x-ray, chill all finished product according to recipe.
  • Follow formula’s procedural steps rigidly, never deviating from recipe.
  • Practice safety procedures as per training in the handling of all process equipment.
  • Report immediately any unsafe equipment or malfunction.
  • Responsible for his/her safety and well-being of plant associates.
  • Execute the quality assurance program as per company standards.
  • Responsible for keeping the work area or assembly line in optimum sanitation condition and ensures that all SOP’s, HACCP & SSOP’s are executed as planned.
  • Follow company standards in the execution of the allergen program and immediately report any deviation.
  • Fill all paperwork with accuracy related to temperature checks, traceability, and sequential process.
  • Conduct all formulation with precision and double check all weights and measures.
  • Record in recipe every procedural step.
  • Initial every completed step in formula.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly calibrated and sanitized before use.
  • Rigorously execute the GMP’s standard operating procedure.
  • Prevent and report immediately any potential cross-contamination situation.
  • Follow company policies and procedures clocking in & out for the shift and breaks.
  • Use adequate protective gear in the handling of electrical connections, hydraulics, and pneumatics, as per company’s policies and procedures.
  • Assist Plant Management on all product changeovers.
  • Maintain positive relationships among all levels of associates.
  • Execute FiFo policy.
