Responsible for material movements and accurate inventory management within the manufacturing sites. This role involves using company ERP systems and specialized software like Power Pick Global (KARDEX Remstar) to manage raw materials, work-in-progress, process purchase orders, and conduct inventory cycle counts. The operator will monitor and investigate inventory discrepancies, analyze KARDEX shelf utilization, and report hardware/software issues. Key responsibilities include coordinating with various departments (Receiving, Purchasing, and all MFG departments) to resolve PO discrepancies, fulfill item movement requests, and conduct cycle counts. The role also includes performing the company's annual inventory and delivering inventory items using equipment such as forklifts, powered pallet jacks, hand trucks, and box trucks. Adherence to 5S principles for a clean and safe work area and support for LEAN activities, including continuous process improvement based on KAIZEN principles, are essential. The operator will participate in MFG Supply Chain projects and ensure compliance with legal, company, ISO, OSHA, and Environmental Protection regulations, maintaining the highest safety standards. Keeping knowledge up-to-date through continuing education is also required.
