Responsible for material movements and accurate inventory management within the manufacturing sites. This role involves using company ERP systems and specialized software like Power Pick Global (KARDEX Remstar) to manage raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), process incoming purchase orders, and conduct inventory cycle counts. The operator will also monitor and investigate inventory discrepancies, analyze KARDEX shelf utilization, and report any hardware or software issues. Coordination with Receiving, Purchasing, and other departments is crucial for resolving discrepancies and fulfilling item movement requests. The position requires efficient operation of various equipment, including forklifts, powered pallet jacks, hand trucks, and box trucks, to ensure timely delivery of inventory items. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a clean and safe work area (5S) and supporting lean manufacturing principles, including continuous process improvement based on KAIZEN principles. The role may also involve participation in MFG Supply Chain projects and ensuring compliance with legal, company, ISO, OSHA, and environmental regulations, maintaining the highest safety standards.
