About The Position
Join PMC SMART Solutions and help manufacture technology that saves lives! We are seeking a detail-oriented Metrology Technician for a 6-month temporary assignment. This position has the potential to transition into a full-time role based on business needs and project activity, although permanent employment is not guaranteed.
Requirements
- Experience working in a metrology lab
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Nice To Haves
- CMM programming experience
- Vision System programming experience
- Data analysis experience
- Technical writing or test method development
Responsibilities
- Perform precise dimensional measurements of parts independently
- Conduct 100% layouts and attribute inspections
- Create and maintain Control Plan measurement programs
- Collect and document inspection data
- Interpret engineering drawings (training available)
- Support data analysis and reporting
- Assist with developing inspection methods and technical documentation (preferred)
- Program CMM and/or Vision Systems (preferred)
