The Metrology OGP Programmer will be responsible for the following tasks with minimal direction: Read and interpret prints to understand OGP program requirements, including GD&T, tolerances and datums. Read and interpret all additional product specifications, to identify all dimensions needed and come up with recommendations for any changes needed to achieve this goal. Write OGP Program to measure all dimensions that the technical team has identified as critical. Participate in team meetings to discuss job requirements, delivery timelines, and associated risks. Flexibility when possible, with last minute modifications to prints and required dimensions and tolerances. Run and debug OGP program, conduct validation tests and preliminary statistical data analysis, in order to help provide recommendations for next steps. Troubleshoot program issues that may come up during validation, whether they are related to tools used, equipment calibration or pallet dimensions. Train team members, including apprentices, as required. Contribute to team meetings by discussing innovative ideas and providing valuable input.
