Metrology CMM Engineer II (Onsite)

Requirements
- University Degree and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 2 years of experience
- Working knowledge of basic GD&T
Nice To Haves
- Be able to interpret part drawings
- Ability to obtain, organize and analyze quality data
- Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, internal and external
- Intermediate computer and scripting skills
- Experience in SAP
- Experience in a AS9100 certified environment or similar operating system certifications (IATF16949, ISO-9001-2015, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Perform Laser Tracking and Robotic Arm (CMM) in-process inspections of large, complex naval parts
- Work and communicate with Operations, Engineering, Management, and other disciplines
- Evaluate and prepare metrology reports for customer deliverables
- Participate in the selection of new CMM equipment
- Write measurement scripts within Spatial Analyzer or similar program
- Procure, ship, and deliver items using SAP (enterprise resource planning)
