Requirements

  • Associate degree in related technical field with 3 years of experience or a minimum of 5 years related experience.
  • Solid understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T concepts.
  • Knowledge of different inspection equipment and methods.
  • Experience developing measurement programs in CT, vision, or CMM platforms preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical molding and validation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain inspection documents and measurement instructions.
  • Develop, validate, and maintain CT, vision, and Keyence measurement programs.
  • Create and execute Gage R&R studies and interpret results.
  • Develop scan recipes and offline processing programs.
  • Provide technical feedback to engineering regarding measurement feasibility.
  • Support gage and fixture concepts with designers.
  • Analyze capability data and recommend corrective actions.
  • Execute inspections using approved inspection documents and measurement instructions.
  • Perform First Article inspections.
  • Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
  • Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.
  • Report inspection and test data.
  • Work with production to inspect product in real time.
  • May assist Engineering staff in validating or troubleshooting inspection and testing methods.
  • Supports Isometric ISO13485 continuous improvement initiatives.
